We were humbled to receive four awards, highlighting the Xplore team’s dedication to creating a positive working environment and an unparalleled experience for our Internet customers in rural communities across Canada.

Teresa Floyd took home Employee of the Year for her outstanding contribution to exceptional customer service and creating an uplifting workplace environment. Teresa has been with Xplore for over 11 years, starting as a customer service representative and moving through various promotions, always bringing her passion for problem-solving and helping others to work.
Her favorite part of the job? Solving problems and staying connected with colleagues, even from her home office. “I love solving the problem, whether helping the customer get back online or training a new hire,” she said. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking, gardening and crafts.
Nicole Theriault's leadership has been instrumental in driving our call center’s success. Her team spends all day keeping Canadians in rural areas connected to high-speed Internet service so that they can live their best lives!
Her ability to inspire and guide her team earned her the Leader of the Year award. Nicole has been with Xplore for 16 years, leading our Contact Centres across Canada. She loves being part of the Customer Care team and is proud of building a work culture where people feel heard, valued, and motivated to grow.
“Growing up in Rural New Brunswick, I understood firsthand how important internet access is in remote communities. When I heard about a NB-based company focused on bringing broadband to rural Canada, it immediately caught my attention. Once I joined Xplore, It didn’t take long to see the passion behind the vision and the incredible people bringing it to life,” she explained.
When she’s not delivering the best customer experience she can, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and reading. “I enjoy a good book to disappear into, my goal for the year is to read 45 books and I’m always looking for a good book recommendation!”
The annual Contact NB Awards celebration always ends with the highly coveted award of Contact Centre Member of the Year. This award recognizes a call center that has made a substantial contribution to the association, its employees, and the community. Xplore was beyond proud to take it home!
