What We’re Doing to Improve Your Satellite Internet Experience

You’ve been reading a lot about Xplore’s fibre and 5G service and today, we want to share some work we’ve been doing to improve the Internet experience of the customers who live outside of fixed wireless and cabled areas, the ones who have been with us from the beginning, our satellite customers.

This year, we made four big moves to improve the experience of our satellite customers:

More satellite-connected areas can now get speeds up to 50 Mbps

This year, we upgraded to offer speeds up to 50 Mbps in more of our satellite service areas. You can use the Check Availability tool or call 1-866-601-0021 to find out if this is available in your neighbourhood.

Free upgrades from 10 to 25 Mbps

For qualifying satellite customers, we offered a free speed upgrade from 10 to 25 Mbps speeds to improve their online experience.

The gift of more data

This spring, customers like Connie Fermo were given an extra 100 GB of data per month for free. This package change was applied automatically, and customers were informed by email.

Connie really appreciates having the extra data every month, especially seeing as it was applied automatically and free of charge.

“I really really like the company. They really take care. This is the only one I can brag about. (The competitor) doesn't do that type of customer service. Not even close. Every one of the people I talk to is so courteous, kind and so helpful,” she said.

Qualifying Xplore Customers Can Be Among The First to Get J3

This year, Xplore is launching next-generation satellite service which will offer four times the speeds of our current satellite offering.

Existing Xplore satellite customers will be the first to know about the new packages and can take advantage of special offers and incentives at launch.
