Rural Internet performance can be influenced by factors such as the technology available, network conditions, equipment, your property's location, and the physical environment around your home. For Fixed Wireless connections, terrain, trees, distance from network infrastructure, and other obstructions can also affect the signal. Professional installation helps determine suitable equipment placement for your property.

The equipment needed depends on the Internet technology available at your Ontario address. Your service may require professionally installed equipment to connect your home to the network, along with a router to provide Wi-Fi throughout your home. During installation, the technician will set up the required equipment and test your connection so you're ready to get online.

Start by checking which services are actually available at your address. Then compare Internet technology, download and upload speeds, data allowances, pricing, installation requirements, equipment, customer support, and plan flexibility. Also consider how your household uses the Internet, including remote work, streaming, gaming, video calls, and the number of devices connected at the same time.

Available Xplore Internet plans can support common remote-work activities such as video meetings, cloud applications, email, and browsing. Your experience will depend on the technology and speeds available at your address, along with the number of people and devices sharing your connection.
