The Xplore Join the Discussion contest (the “Contest”) starts at 11 AM EST on September 27, 2024 and ends at 4 PM EST on November 25, 2024 (the “Contest Period”).
No purchase necessary. During the Contest Period, you may enter the Contest by: (i) visiting Xplore’s D&I Chatter in Salesforce and post a thoughtful comment responding to the following discussion question
(“Question”) OR (ii) email a thoughtful comment to [email protected] responding to the Question (the “Submission”). Your Submission must comply with the Submission Guidelines provided below. If your Submission is received during the Contest Period in accordance with these official rules and regulations (the “Rules”), as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, you will be eligible to receive one entry into the Contest. Limit of one entry per person permitted during the Contest Period. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means including use of any automated system to participate, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of these Rules maybe disqualified. All entries submitted become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
By entering the Contest and submitting a Submission, each entrant: (i) represents and warrants that the Submission is the entrant’s original work and does not infringe on any third party copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights; (ii) represents and warrants that the entrant has all necessary rights from any third party that appears, or is mentioned, in the Submission, including those from the parent or legal guardian if third party is under the age of majority; (iii) grants the Sponsor an unlimited, royalty free, irrevocable, right and license to publish, reproduce and/or use the Submission in any and all forms of media, including, without limitation, on the Sponsor’s social networking pages, without notice or compensation; (iv) waives all moral rights in the Submission in favour of the Sponsor; and (v) agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its directors, officers agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any claim or liability arising from or related to the Submission and/or the entrant’s participation in this Contest. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any claims with respect to the Submissions.
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the legal age of majority in their place of residence at the time of entry and are employees of Xplore Inc. (the “Sponsor”).
There is one prize (“Prize”) available to be won consisting of 5000 XBucks (approximate retail value $50CAD). The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize in the event the Prize is unavailable for any reason. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and no substitutions, except as identified above, will be made. The Prize may not be sold, transferred or assigned and is not convertible to cash.
On November 25, 2024 a random draw conducted by the Sponsor will take place from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The first entry drawn will be eligible to win the Prize. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner within 5 days of the draw. In the event that the potential winner cannot be contacted within 5 days after the draw, he or she will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be drawn at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Before being confirmed the Prize winner, the potential winner must, in addition to meeting the Contest eligibility criteria and otherwise complying with the Rules: (i) have correctly answered, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by the Sponsor, and (ii) within the time stipulated by the Sponsor, complete and return to the Sponsor a contest eligibility and liability/publicity release (“Release Form”) which, among other things, confirms compliance with these Rules, acknowledges acceptance of the Prize as awarded, releases the Sponsor and its directors, officers and agents from all liability of any kind arising out of participation in the Contest and receipt and use of the Prize, and except where prohibited by law, permits the Sponsor to publish, reproduce and/or use the Submission, name, address (city and province), voice, photograph or other likeness, without further notice or compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, including the Internet, in any publicity carried out by the Sponsor. Proof of identity must be provided upon request. In the event that the potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these Rules, the Sponsor shall have the right to disqualify the potential winner and select an alternate potential winner, and the Sponsor shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. No correspondence will be made except with potential winner.
By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by these Rules, and further agree that the decisions of the Sponsor is final. The Sponsor reserves the right at any time without prior notice to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest for any reason. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering or disrupting the online entry process or the operation of the Contest or acting in violation of these Rules. The Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for any lost, delayed, incorrect or incomplete entry information howsoever caused. The Sponsor is not liable for injuries, death, damages or losses of any kind resulting from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of the Prize. In the event of a dispute, entries submitted online will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
By entering the Contest each entrant consents to the collection, use and disclosure of the entrant’s personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age and home address) by the Sponsor for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling the Contest. The name of the Prize winner may be posted online or otherwise beginning on the first business day after the winner has been contacted and has returned a fully completed Release Form as set out above.
This Contest is governed by the laws of Canada, is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
