This June, Xplore’s entire fixed wireless LTE network in Prince Edward Island (PEI) was upgraded to allow residents to connect to the internet service with speeds up to 100 Mbps! This is double the speed of the fastest package that Xplore has ever offered!

“50 to 100 Mbps is a noticeable difference in Mbps download speeds. So, customers can do more and have a better experience,” said Corey Hallett, Xplore’s District Sales Manager for Atlantic Canada.

Corey says that internet connection needs have been growing exponentially since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mike Cheverie an Xplore customer from Charlottetown says that his broadband service has improved since switching plans.

“There was a noticeable difference in download speeds,” he said.

Mike says his wife is back teaching in-class, but that there are still two family members working from home and one doing university from home.
